Dear Acres of Fun! We heard that you sent our Mommy and Poppy a letter asking them to write up a personal experience for your new testimonial page on your website. We are not really sure why… because last time we checked, they were not in our cage nor were they in any of the others that we pass when we go outside to potty! We thought we would be in a better position to give you our “personal experince” 🙂 Mommy and Poppy have rescued four dogs so far. The first was our beloved princess Baggy. Then came Axl and next for some reason Guinness. And the newest addition, Tucker! We have been coming to visit you at Acres of Fun for the past 8.5 years since they moved to Powhatan. You guys were fantastic with our angel Baggy who lived to be 16 years old. She came to visit you two months before she went to heaven and you treated her with love, care, and a kind heart. We will always remember and appreciate that:) Now, I (Axl the writer of the group) am getting old too, with my gray raccoon eyes. I don’t have a worry in the world that you will take as good of care of me as you did Baggy:) It does not matter if we are in an indoor run or an indoor/outdoor run…we love it! The runs are always clean (I think I heard my Mommy say she would eat in here it was so clean). The backyard is the best! How do you keep the grass so green (that’s what my Poppy wants to know since he can’t even keep our yard green and there is only three of us). You always make sure the three of us can be in the same run. We get cots and a mat everytime…and you even remind Mommy how many playtimes we need. You have given us baths, cut our nails, given us our pills (dang arthritis), and never yelled at us for barking and carrying on. If we had to have a place to go that was not home, we always want to come see you! Thank you for ALWAYS taking such good care of us (and being patient with my Mommy who feels guilty about leaving us….ha little does she know, right? Let’s keep it our secret!)! It is hard to get three of us in a picture…but we will try and email it to you. Lots of tails wags and doggy kisses, Axl, Guinness, Tucker (& Baggy in spirit)
